Do I need to create an account?
No. Your Travel Companion uses anonymous device-based authentication — no email, no Google sign-in, no Facebook. Just install and start using it. Your data is tied to your device, not a profile.
Does it really work offline?
Yes. Every core feature — journal, vault, itinerary, photo capture, voice notes, PDF export — runs entirely on your device. The only feature that requires internet is the optional flight lookup (and even those are cached after the first fetch).
Where is my data stored? Is it encrypted?
100% on your device, encrypted at rest using your phone's secure enclave. Nothing syncs to the cloud unless you explicitly export a PDF. We never see your photos, journal entries, or documents — even our staff can't access them.
How much does it cost?
Free forever for the core experience. Companion Pro is $39.99/year and unlocks unlimited Vault storage, unlimited PDF exports, and premium templates. One-time $0.99 Day Pass unlocks 24 hours of unlimited flight tracking — no subscription required.
Is there an iPhone version?
Android beta is in active testing. iOS shortly after — join the iOS waitlist on our homepage to get notified the day it goes live.
Can I export my trip as a printed photo book?
Yes. Studio exports a print-ready PDF you can upload directly to Lulu, Printful, Blurb, or any print-on-demand service. Premium templates included with Companion Pro.
What happens to my data if I uninstall the app?
It's deleted with the app — because it never left your device. Before uninstalling, export your trips as PDFs to preserve them. We strongly recommend doing this for any trip you want to keep.
Can I share a trip with my partner or family?
v1 is single-device. Shared trips, partner sync, and family timelines are on the v2 roadmap — slated for 2026. Until then, the PDF share is the simplest way: export the trip and AirDrop / message it to anyone.
